Those of you familiar with video editing will know that this typically requires proxy workflows, re-encoding, long waits, dropped frames, etc. It's hard to explain how well this computer handles compressed 4K 10bit footage. Like a lot of people I was set on waiting for the 16 inch version, but I do a lot of video editing and the footage from my new camera (Sony A7SIII) was bringing my previous MacBook Pro to its knees. I received my 16gb M1 MacBook Pro 2 weeks ago, and I'm completely blown away in every regard.
